How to get rid of the ‘stuff” that gathers in your heart?

What happens when our hearts baskets gets filled with other peoples STUFF?

When I was little my parents used to say to my siblings and I ...

Good night,

Sweet dreams

All the Beautiful things

and I love you

In my recent blog Why is it important to remember beautiful things? you will read why these beautiful words are important to me and how they have influenced my life.

In this blog I write more about that…

How to get rid of the “stuff” that gathers in our heart

the wrong kind of stuff that makes you feel heavy, tired, anxious and worried.

I invite you to remember what you placed in your hearts basket from last week.

Can you remember ALL THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS that live in there. Can you see them? Can you reach out and touch them? Those special treasures that are non-negotiable for your hearts deep happiness. Can you deeply feel their energy? holding them again in your heart

and in the palm of your hand.

Now let’s gently take those treasures out and imagine you are placing them in Mother Earth’s Sacred Basket. Gently. One at a time.

Consciously. Slowly. With awareness of what you are taking out and what that special beautiful thing is.

Only when your basket is empty of your own treasures, I invite you to look in your basket and see what “other things” have decided to live here.

For example,

  • maybe the need to compare your life and journey to others has drifted in here,

  • or the harsh words that you heard someone say to you

  • or the old tape-recorder that seems to go round and round when you’re by yourself and feeling low

  • or the heavy expectations of society, family, culture, peers

  • or the worries, anxieties, pain, and fears that are real and heavy

  • or old papers, letters, broken objects, items that feel wrong

I invite you to really look at these other things. Name them. See what space they have taken in your exquisite basket.

Released of judgement

Can you look in your basket released of judgement - judgement for yourself and or others?

I now invite you to turn your basket upside down and shake it so that the excess stuff can come out. Like turning your backpack upside down after you have gone to the beach…see all the sand come out.

You may wish to shake your basket a bit imagining the sand from the corners coming out.

You may wish to imagine beautiful sunlight coming inside your basket bathing your inner basket with the colours of dawn or dusk or the bright noon sunlight.

I invite you to imagine these beautiful colours - like when you draw the curtains back in the morning and see the brilliant beautiful colours of a new day stream through your window. May these beautiful colours stream through your basket.

You may also wish to imagine that you have taken your basket to the top of a mountain or the edge of a cliff and the fresh air is blowing in your basket and clearing it. refreshing it. allowing and inviting it to breathe out.

You may also like to imagine gentle rain drops gently falling into your basket and washing, cleansing,
cleaning your basket of the old, the “sand”, the stuff.

Now I invite you to imagine that you are just holding your basket.

Holding it gently.
Holding it with tender care and loving arms. As you would hold a babe, or hold a new born animal.
Gently feeling the energy settle around you, in you and in your basket.

When you are ready, I invite you to go back to Mother Earth’s Sacred Basket and take your treasures out and gently place them back in your basket. Placing them back in a basket that is clean, refreshed and free of the “stuff” that made it heavy.

And only when you are ready,
gently and consciously replace your basket back in your heart,
and feel your own energy come alive once more.

My dear friends,

Sometimes we may need extra support and help to clean our basket and come back into alignment. Here are a couple of beautiful options to help realign you and bring you back to that Beautiful Basket within.

Having a Soul Retrieval can help you
re-weave your basket and reclaim in a sacred ritual what is yours.

We are living in very challengable and uncertain times, and sometimes we need someone else to hold our hands and heart as we navigate all that is -

It is vital to your mental health, your vibration and your well being that your basket is woven and filled with what is important to you.

Ensuring that your Heart’s Basket is filled with all those beautiful things that make you smile is VITAL to your well being and peace of mind

You may also like to try my recorded mindfulness meditations. These little short meditations have been created to gift you with special tools and skills to create a deep sense of mindfulness and inner peace in your day to day life.

Until we connect again,

where our basket is filled with all the beautiful things that make us smile,

I wish you a lovely journey

Hi! My name is Sam, and while I am a shamanic practitioner/spiritual mentor with over 20 years experience, I am predominately recognised for my innate ability to facilitate profound positive change in peoples lives. Change that invites and welcomes folk, like you, to come home, home to the innate wisdom and healing medicine that lives within.

Through shamanic journeying, guided visualisation, storytelling, breath techniques, soul retrieval, and a plethora of other skills I will energetically walk with you as you weed your soul’s garden, befriend the once feared dragon, unearth your inner sacred sites, and welcome home lost and fragmented soul parts.

I open my door to you and invite you in for some Individual healing/mentoring sessions and/or maybe an empowering workshop or two.

Until we meet,
Blessed be
